Still Active is a vibrant startup based in Switzerland and Sweden, it is a lifestyle platform aimed at organizing and discovering local events and activities for like-minded people aged 55+
Situation
Prior to meeting us Still active had a functioning website offering activities to the over 55 community in Stockholm, Sweden.
They wanted to take their digital business to the next step and have an accompanying Android and iOS mobile application which would allow their users to immerse themselves in the community via and in-app commenting and messaging system where they could not only select events and join them but they can also add photographs to events they attended or lookup other members whom they had met.
Action
After 4 months we delivered 2 applications released in tandem on the Apple App Store and the Google Play store within days of each other.
Both applications are full fledged social networks, they operate independently of the Still Active platform website and have an impressive array of features such as full localisation in both English and Swedish, Realtime instant chat, timeline feature showing events and new users, geolocation to find events close by, push notifications and more.
The application was tested rigorously in focus groups within the target demographic who found it very easy to use and navigate.
